Date and Place
The event will take place from June 7 to June 14, 2025, in Porto Recanati, on the Marchigiana coast. Throughout the week, 15 participating restaurants will offer “Brodetto alla portorecanatese De.Co.” in various versions, ranging from traditional recipes passed down through generations to modern reinterpretations.

This typical dish is a true symbol of the local seafood cuisine, characterized by very fresh fish, the absence of tomato and mussels, and the delicate golden color given by local saffron, making it a unique specialty compared to other brodetto dishes along the Adriatic coast. Its origin dates back to the late 1800s thanks to chef Giovanni Velluti, who brought it to a refined gourmet version. The recipe is now protected by the Accademia del Brodetto alla Portorecanatese to ensure its authenticity.
